Picture Burgess Park is a photography & short film competition organised by the Friends of Burgess Park.

The park is undergoing major transformation - the aim of the competition is to help record what Burgess Park means to locals and how we are affected by the changes, collecting the best images & video showing Burgess Park as it is now, as it develops and what it will become. It's free and open to everyone!

To entre, simply e-mail your entry to friendsofburgesspark@gmail.com and we'll post it onto this blog. Tag your email with a theme (be it memories, change, hope...) and tell us a bit about your entry in your e-mail (where you took the picture/video and what it means to you)

In March 2012, at the completion of the revitalisation, we will select the best photos for a final exhibition and a book.
